La Source – A Point Break Dream

La Source is a world-class point break just north of Taghazout, offering long and clean right-hand waves that are a dream for intermediate and advanced surfers. Named after the natural freshwater springs that emerge near the shoreline, La Source is a picturesque spot that delivers barreling sections and peeling waves, especially when a strong NW swell rolls in. The take-off can be steep, but once you’re locked in, expect a long ride that allows for multiple turns and stylish maneuvers.
Surfers love La Source for its versatility – it provides thrilling rides while still being a manageable challenge for those looking to level up their skills. As with many of the region’s best spots, timing is key to scoring perfect conditions.
La Source is one of those waves that just keeps giving. It’s long, fast, and offers perfect walls to carve. One of my all-time favorites.
