One of the most iconic surf spots in Morocco, Anchor Point is a paradise for those chasing long, powerful right-hand waves. This break is renowned for its world-class barrels, offering rides that can stretch up to 500 meters on a good day. The wave begins with a steep takeoff, leading into a hollow barrel section before transitioning into long, open walls that are perfect for carving.
It was named after a nearby tuna fish factory in the 1970s, which had a large anchor displayed outside. Today, it remains one of the top surf destinations, drawing professionals and dedicated surfers from around the world. During peak season (October to March), it can get crowded, but if you catch it early in the morning, you might score the perfect ride with fewer surfers in the lineup.
